S Video to TV...wrong size

I have connected my svideo out on my pc to my tv but for some reason the picture it sends cuts off the edge of the screen so i cant go to start or to the menu bars at the top of programs.

I have changed my tvsd display settings and worked out its the signal coming fomr the pc thats wrong not the display on my tv.

I was also wondering if theres anyway to change the way the mouse goes fdrom the right side of the screen and then jumps to the next screen and have it panning left instead? But im more bothered about the screen being clipped around the edges.

Would it not be anything to do with aspect ratio settings on the tv?

What graphics card are you using?

Use the nvidia control panel to change whether you use an extended desktop or clone on your displays. I would talk you through it myself but i am on the laptop with no nvidia card.

Actually, here's a good question syphus, if your using a single display adapter on two screens (edit: a single graphics card with two outputs), can you use a different resolution for either of them if they are meant to be a clone?
