I am trying to connect my desktop Compaq Presario PC to a JVC LCD TV, using the normal monitor lead connection as the TV supports PC in. This works fine with my Fijitsu laptop, but although I get the Windows start up screen with the PC the screen just goes black - indicating it is getting a signal, as it goes blue otherwise. I have set the display on the desktop to the same resolution as the laptop, but no luck. Only thing I have noticed different in the settings between the two computers is that the laptop does say Multiple Monitors, whereas the desktop says default. I dont know what function key switches the display on the desktop either.

Any suggestions??? Thanks!
