Iam Having Some problems with my Nvidia 6600GT,

The First Problem is when i was playing Call Of Duty 2 It Crashed on me so i had to restart my PC, When i Did So my Bios Went Funny with all White Dashes All over my screen. When it got to Windows loading With the bar at the bottem finshed loading my monitor went onto standby. Couldnt do anythingÂÂ! so i restarted my PC again The Same Thing Happened.

So i thought my graphics driver was corrupted. So i went into Safe mod, Removed my graphics driver. Then Restarted the pc. After the restart i still got the Dashes all over my screen. Windows XP loaded this time. With no dashes in Windows. So i try installing some new Graphics drivers. When i was installing them, when it had completed installing my graphics drivers the screen goes to standby again? When ever i install a Graphics Driver for my 6600GT IT goes into Standby?

Can Anyone Help Me Out? Here?

This is almost certainly a hardware problem. Try testing the graphics card on another PC - include a bit of gaming, make sure it is properly stressed.

Is the card is still under warrantee?

I have Tried the Graphics card in my dads Computer it still has the Same problem

And yes it is under Warranty

Make sure you have the cable for your monitor plugged into the graphics card properlly

It is 90% likely that your graphics card is defective. A corrupt screen during POST indicates that it cannot be software related, since the issue occurs before drivers are even loaded. Because the problem followed a spontaneous crash, it really makes it obvious something is wrong

I would return it for warranty replacement.
