Help Plz
Hey there,
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to graphics cards and stuff. I have a Dell Dimension 8300 comp, i'm upgrading my graphics card and i'm looking at either a Radeon X800 series card or NVidia 6800 series card, theses are all PCI-e cards. Is this compatible with my motherboard?? Or Is there anything i can do to check whether it is??, also how do i know if my motherboard is SLI compatible?? Any help would be much appreciated ![]() Thanks |

Re: Help Plz
Hello Evolution you will have to tell us more. Goto Http://www.portal.itsallpc.co.uk
Sign up for an account its 2 mins then go to the download section and download PC wizard 2005. Install it and run it this will tell you everything about your computer copy the text and paste it in this thread and we will tell you what you need to know.. Also there are lots of versions of the X800 card some PCI-E and some AGP. I would guess that your pc would be the agp type unless its quite new? Here are some agp cards http://www1.shopgenie.co.uk/search/q...tnerid=8907200 Lozテつ! テつ! Ps. I have sent you a PM. Please read it now thanks Loz

I found the same card for テつ」160 inc vat.
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=63701 Yes there should be no problem with power. Just remember to ask that you have the AGP x800 and not the PCI-E x800 when you buy ok!!
