wont let me remove this program
hi new to this forum looks cool
im havin a lot of pc problems i've tried to fix it but its not workin so i thought to join this forum and seek advice this is 1 of my problems - i tried to get rid of this software that i dont use any more but everytime i try to remove it off my pc it comes up with this error message- The InstallShield Engine (iKernal.exe) could not be launched. class not registered. not sure what to do any help? |

Hi there, firstly what is the program your trying to remove? also can you post your pc specifications, e.g windows Os (e.g win xp), your computer make and model and have you installed any hardware / software recently thx dave

hey again, just manually remove it,unless anyone else has any ideas,i would recommend you wait untill someone else suggests something, if you do want to manualy remove it, goto c:/program files and locate the sony ericson file, right click and delete
i will try to find out why ur recieving this error as it may cause other problems ![]() Warning! This is not advised!

I was hoping that action would force ikernel to re-register itself. Apparently not...
The next thing to try, is to manually reinstal the ikernel engine:
Try uninstalling the software again once done. |
