Best Anti-Virus?

I am currently using AVG free edition for my virus protection but it does let things through and won't delete them.

It looks like i'll have to purchase a good one but I am unsure what to buy.

Does anybody know of a Great Anti-virus and how much i'll pay for it??

Thanks.....

Re: Best Anti-Virus?

The best is probably Norton Antivirus (NOT Norton Internet Security) or Trend Micro PC Cillin. Prices vary.

Re: Best Anti-Virus?

Norton Anti Virus is the best. Even though it is quite 'heavy' to a normal pc. Many people said that it always slow down pc perfomance, but for my concept, you want your pc with low perfomance but out of virus infection or rather a high perfomance pc but with virus infection? That's the point

Re: Best Anti-Virus?

I haven't noticed performance problems with Norton since I upgrade from a Pentium 200 MHz MMX...some time last millennium :P
