Re: Excel prob

I 99% don't think this is possible. if you do find out how t somehow do it please tell me.

I can't see what you would store in Word which would also correspond with what you store in Excel.

Re: Excel prob

Hi,

When you say convert to Excel, what format is the current word document - have you got tables etc?

It would be a tremendous help iff you could attach a sample of the word document that you want converting - If possible, can you strip out any non-identifyable information, zip the file up using WinZip or similar program, and post as a reply to this thread?

Alternatively if you're not happy doing this, email me the file (adaytay@gmail.com) and I'll take a look for you if you like?

I've used Excel at an advanced level so I'm able to do pretty much anything in it.

Re: Excel prob

As far as I know there is no method to convert a .doc file to .xls
I too had this query sometime back when I wanted to convert a word file having data in tabular form.Someone asked me to visit www.softinterface.com. I have gone through
But not found anything relevant.Well I found a cool research Keepoint which I regularly use whenever I surf Internet .It helps to keep the information on-hand, available and accessible for a time when it will next be needed.
