hi, i am trying my hardest to learn how to get along with our household main pc.me and it are not getting on well tho.i need advise and guidence on how to turn this modern machine into a responsive, fast, efficent tool that i dont have to spend all my time swearing at!
the thing is i am quick to learn but am quite inexperienced with computers.are people going to be ok with me asking really baci questions here or are you all at at higher level so to speak?

Sure you're in the right place. You obviously know the basics - if you didn't, you wouldn't have found your way here.

The main thing we may need to know is your operating system (Such as Windows XP or Windows Vista) which will be shown to you when you turn your computer on.
