Gaming pad

I currently have a Nostromo n50 speedpad to play my shooter style games and was thinking of upgrading it. I know there is a n52 on the market but I was wondering is there any more, better speedpad type controllers out there.

I have looked but have only found a Microsoft Strategic commander, which is not as good as the n50.

Any help would be appreciated in finding a replacement. Thanks...

Re: Gaming pad

I have the n52 myself; upgrade from the old n50. I have to say, there's nothing better on the market.

If you have disposable income, upgrade to the n52. You wont be disappointed

Re: Gaming pad

I dunno...the best thing about the n50-series is they fit the hand so perfectly. That one looks like they've sacrificed ergonomics for aesthetics.

It looks like it could be difficult to reach those top keys, or that lower left key...

Re: Gaming pad

Yeh, I see what you mean..

I'll look around for some reviews on the saktek unit but I think I might stick to the n52...

Thanks for your help..

Re: Gaming pad

What type of games do you use that pad for? I was just wondering.

Re: Gaming pad

Every game that has mapable keys. This would generally exclude Real Time Strategies, where the keyboard is best.
