new hardware not working, help me please???

hi i've have just bought a new motherboard, cpu, memory, and a psu, and they don't seem to work. well i know the psu is working because its i'm using it at the moment with my old hardware, but when i connect everything up, even got out the manual, and i press the power switch and nothing happens, its really bugging me because i'm studying computers at college and now i can't even put a computer together. i've got all the power supply leads plugged in and all the data supply leads plugged in and it don't bloody work. i mean i can take my old computer apart and then together again no problem but the new hardware is really bugging me, well my old hardware is bout 10 years old, maybe i missed something thats new on the new hardware.

anyone have any idea what i might have missed???

thank you
bradley

The only thing that comes to my mind is the PSU wattage. Maybe it's just too low for your new toys?

I'm sorry to say but this could be a number of things from the power supply being to low in the wattage department to a faulty cpu or even memory.

you need to be a little more specific with what the symptoms are for example if the unit dosen't even power up this could mean it's your psu.

Give us a little more info and i'll try to help.
