Supreme Commander. "Ensure system meets requiremtents."

I bought a new graphics card the other day for my PC. Unfortunatly my motherboard only supports PCI not PCI-E. However I knew this already and got an nVIDIA GeFORCE FX 5200. One of the main purposes for buying this graphics card was the hope it wuld be compatiable to play supreme commander. From what I've read on the files about the minimum spec. My computer exceeds the minimum requirements and according to the specifications that were on the box of the graphics card it seems to meet the requirements. However when I start up the demo it goes to a black screen for a couple of seconds then comes up with: "Ensure the system specifications meets requirements. Can anyone help or advise me please?

SC

Now i Know how you feel on this one I have had the same problems. Its not just based on what you have if you're running vista you need to make sure that you're system rating is enough. Mines at 4.3 which seems to be enough.

My problem was that the GPU took 5 days to fully install itself and then i had to update my system score this seemed to work.

If you look at you're score and the icon is Grey it needs updating.

to get to the system rating

go to the control panel

select system and click the icon to update.

let the computer check its rating when done you should be able to play if you're system is above the requirements.
