that is strange, given that you have replaced almost all your components. the same happened to me and i reset the bios (battery out for several minutes). If you have any external graphics then remove it and reset your BIOS back to running internal. need to do some more digging then ill get back to you

Just a quick check dose the machine post beep if u remove the memory from the banks then run the machine. Also u say u have tryed another graphics card i guess u must be running agp for those kind of processors have u tryed placing a pci standard card in.

See last time i had this,it came down to memory both sticks seemed to of died so i placed new memory in all worked fine.

One other thing if as a last resort, people never belive in this, but take the pc fully apart, processor out of the motherboard, also bios battery leave over night so the board has no power or anything init.So any static or power will be around the board also makesure when placing the board back in fit the rubber rings around the screw slots in the case to stop any sparky lol.

no the iqon will not post with or without ram and have tried pci as well as agp grafix card i suppose both rams have gone never thort of that it would make sence as alls i did was remove one and coulda sparked the other only prob is i aint got anymore to try(got lots of pc100)no ddr,and dont want to spend too much on ram to find it might not be that

the microstar board however gives 1short beep which i do think is a post and then 2 longer ones, the bleep codes say 2 means parity cannot be reset whatever that means and 3 means first 64k memory failure

i will strip the iqon right down to nothing and try the overnight thing and see,in the meantime i need to source some ram,

thanks to you guys 4 the info so far

oops this suggests to me there is a power supply problem or something as small as a keyboard fault. Worst case here is that your MOBO has shorted

I had a similar issue once, the mobo was shorting out on the chassis so i took out the mobo and placed in onto some cardboard and started it up. This worked for me as i then inserted some rubber washers behind the screws connecting the mobo to the motherboard. Not sure if this will help but it worked for me!
