I realise this is pretty much a duplicate post, so could an admin delete the original one as it's now more than a soundcard issue?
I haven't changed anything on my pc between before and when it stopped working. Basically, i left my pc on for a couple of hours, came back and the mouse wasn't working but i cud still use the keyboard fine, my onboard wireless had disconnected, and upon restarted these were fine, but i then foudn that my pc wasn't detected my creative soundcard. restarted, still nothing. so i switched to my onboard in the bios, still nothing. Any suggestions? My spec can be found in my profile. Update - Yesterday, i turned my PC on and it wouldn't post. I tried turning it off at the wall, on the back, all sorts. Eventually it did post after i removed the plug from the back of the PSU and put it back in again. Is it possible that this is related to the original problem? Roz

oh this is gona be a fun time mate, Can we have a little more information please, such as what state your pc is in at this time.Is the mouse working again?,has any of the sound cards been detected or working,
Also when u say that the pc wouldn't post,do u mean their was power to the machine just no signal to the monitor or do u mean the pc would not power up at all. Thanks |

Hey guys,
My motherboard has died on me, and i have a RAID 0 array consisting of 2 disks. The motherboard uses Intel's ICH9R Raid controller. My question is - if i move those disks accross to a new motherboard with either ICH9R or ICH10, will i be able to still read my array? Cheers, Roz
