What were you planning on using the desktop for? If you aren't planning on doing any serious gaming, then you can't go wrong with that rig. It's only weak spot I see is the graphics card (and maybe Windows Vista). It would be pretty difficult to play any modern game on integrated graphics (Windows Vista is known to have worse gaming performance then Windows XP. Otherwise, with the right specs, Windows Vista is actually a little more responsive for everyday use).

i wouldn't buy that if your not planning on playing games like test drive unlimited on highest grapix settings.dual core 4400+ is a bit high (more money?).I only have a 1.6 with 640mb of sdram and 128mb graphix nvidia card with 50gb hdd (1x30 1x20).Thats fine for me and allows me to run cool games like ut2004 on high graphix.MAybe you could stick to a lower performance pc and save money .A 3ghz will do fine. You shud buy a graphics card for better performance and as said already xp is better than vista.Vista runs like bull **** on my rig but xp runs super quick.
