damaged CPU fan cable

This morning i was getting all the hardware out of my old system to put in a new case and i noticed that the heatsink was very dirty so i un-screwed the four screws and took it out, but i fogot to unplug the wire before i did so, so it snapped (the red one) will i have to get another heatsink or just the fan, i am going to a computer shop near me tonight so i might just take it to them, but i need to know what needs to be fixed first.

Thanks
Computwiz

*ignores adam* well yeah, either solder it or get a new fan, depending on whether u have the gear :-P

When buying a new fan, make sure it shifts air no less than ur current one. CFM.
