Help!!!

i have a major problem with my pc, on bootup it gets as far as the windows logo and then resets, its as if the power has ben switched off and on, it used to do it every-so-often but now its every time so nothing works. any ideas??

It could be......

It could be that it is overheated very quickly, which means rather your psu is on its way out
or it could be that you have your temp control cut off timer set too low.

If that makes any sence

Ok to be honest theres a very low chance of it being due to a quick overheat....

May I ask when this problem occured, what were you doing at the time?
Have you recently installed any new hardware into the computer? e.g new ram or an extra hard-drive..
Does the computer start up in safe mode (tap f8 when you turn on your computer just after the bios screen disappears "the big picture of your computers brand") then select safe mode, give it about 5 minutes to see if it boots..
