Something Wrong with Power Supply - Computer Forum

Can anyone help me?

The LED for the power supply on the back of the computer (near the plug for the power cable) is blinking. And because of that my computer wont turn on any more. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with my computer? Is it broken for good? or is something loose?

Computer is a Compaq S6300NX.

Hi,

It's hard to diagnose a problem such as this, it could well be that you need your PSU replaced.

Have you tried using a different power cord, the fuse in the plug may be shot.
