recording from the internet

Hi I'm thick :'( and new :-[ and stuck : can anybody please help somebody less fortunate than themselves and recommend some software that will allow me to record direct to my hard drive mainly from the listen again facility on the BBC radio player?
Any help would be much appreciated I tried OpD2d but couldn't get it to work although it said it was recording when I wanted to playback there was no sound please help as there is a show on there at the minute I would really like

Hi docrock, welcome to itsallPC

I've never used this online BBC radio player, but if you want to record anything playing through the sound mixer all you need to do is make sure the correct recording source is selected and any wave editing software will do it
