Hi, Welcome to ItsAllPC.

We need more info.

Did it just not turn on one day?
Did it turn off whilst you were using it?

You could try replacing the power supply unit. This is *probably* the problem.

Good Luck

Re: Help, pc wont start

The power supply unit (PSU) is a box inside your computer - You Plug the power cable into it at the pack of your computer. The PSU then distributes the electricity to different parts of your computer. Better ones are more expensive but you could probably get one for £15-£20.

Open your computer and take yours out - Look at the make and model of it, and try replace it with a similar one, If you don't feel comfortable doing it, its probably best if you take it to a computer repair shop.

The CPU is the main - most expensive chip in your computer. You shouldnt change it without vast knowledge of computers. As the symptoms you describe could be a caused from a number of problems, I personally beleive it would be plain stupid to waste money on the most expensive part of your pc, when in actuality the fault could be one burnt out wire. As Mick_f said, if it is under warranty, don't change a thing, and contact the retailer you purchased the PC from.
