unable to uninstall program, HELP PLEASE - Computer Forum

im not sure exactly what happened, the point is... my battlefield 2 doesnt open/work properly so i though maybe i should unistall and install again. but problem is i cant uninstall... help pleasE?

Did you try going to

Control Pannel > Add / Remove Programs , finding the program and clicking uninstall?

If that doesnt work it will probably come up with an error message. What does it say?

Are you trying to uninstall when your not logged in as administraitor?

well its a game,
i accidently deleted the shortcut icon on desktop. then i tried to play the game but it doesnt work properly, i cant see my pointer. And yes i tried control pannel, and it does give me an error, it reads ; Setup.exe has enountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Is there any other way i can uninstall or w/e? im not sure what to do, thnx

Try installing the game again, it might just plod it ontop of the old files... Maybe...

thnx, that exactly didnt work but once i put in the disc i was able to uninstall. and i installed it again so everything works now.
