Mass mail delivery failure notices

Getting about 500 a day, none of which i have sent. I have scanned with Norton and am left with the following 5 adware which i cannot delete off my system.
Adware topsearch, BDE, p2p networking, 180 solutions, zango search.
Can anyone tell me if these can be the cause of my computer sending me all these emails as it looks like the same url numbers but im not absolutely sure. I have been given several remedies one is to reinstall all my system but i am reluctant to do this if not necessary. Advise please. I could forward headers to anyone who can help.
