Re: HP8290

Hi Robbie thanks for joining us... Ok first can you tell me can you boot a cd? (not windows recovery) Do you have a floppy drive?
If so then i can help you.. If not you will have to tell me what is happening to you computer.. Also check that in the Bios u have is set to boot from CD as the first option... (Press F2 or DEL on Start up and look for boot up options)
Let me know the answers to my questions will tell you the answer Loz

Ps. we are new can u tell your friends about us please thanks...

If you can boot from cd then you can download this click this link....ÂÂ! http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html just click the little zip or exe icons... to download.. This will allow you to boot up a windows start up disk and then u can access dos. Using the normal dos keys! You can read about all the features of this cd here http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and see screen shots..
