HDD in HTPC
Whats the norm as far as hard disc size is concerned for a HTPC system? I'm thinking 500 or 750gb. I knw its not a lot and it'll fill up quickly but you can always burn any media to disc be it standard DVD or BlueRay

I'd go for as big a drive as I could get, with maybe a small, separate drive for the OS so that any one failure isn't totally catastrophic - big files are a bugger to defrag too.
I have ~700GB in my home desktop, of which I've used maybe 300GB, and I don't even use it heavily for media... You know how it is - stuff just... accumulates.... |
