hdd
my old laptop gave up the ghost a few weeks ago........the repair co sent the hdd back to me, question? is there such a thing as an adaptor to turn it into an external usb hdd?
as I now have a new LT with vista installed...........it will not support my email address (hotmail on windows live) I was thinking of getting an external usb hdd and installing windows xp on it so that I can still use hotmail off line to compose, would this idea work????? ![]() ray |

Yes, search google eg 'external hdd box', you will see a great variety.
Just slide ur laptop hdd into it, plug into usb and u have an external drive small enough to fit in shirt pocket. |
