External Hard Drive Problem

Hi i am a bit of a dummy when it comes to computers but i can follow instructions.I have a Pika One 250MB external hard drive and on it i have saved hundreds of CD's.I ripped them all onto my c drive then backed them up on to my external drive then switched it off. I then cleared my c drive of all these cd's,then checked my external to make sure i still have them all and yes all ok. My problem now is how do i add more cd's to the same list on my external drive without loseing my original list. Please can anybody advise me. Thank You

Re: External Hard Drive Problem

Hi,
I might be misunderstanding your problem but can't you just rip the new ones to your C Drive and then copy them to the external drive like you did originally.

Re: External Hard Drive Problem

Can you back them up one by one? As in CD by CD. So that you are only adding to the list on the external drive.
I've had very little experience with external drives but don't worry, if I can't answer your question someone else will. ;D
