help me please
Can someone please tell me how i can stop my son from using my computer. All user accounts are password protected with no hints, but he still manages to set up a guest account. I can not delete this but can turn it off but he just starts it again ,how does he do it without knowing passwords. I wouldn't mind but he's got his own pc. Please help i am desperate.

hi there,
have a look and check his account type is not set to 'administrator', this should be set to 'limited'. if not and you are using XP he might be using an administrator account you don't know about! Try booting the computer in safe mode (F8 when booting) you should either see the administrator account or simply type administrator in the user box. Leave the password box empty. once in go to the administrator user setting and change the pasword... |
