Hello,
I'm experienceing some difficults with what may be a virus/spyware, after downloading something yesterday the effects of a virus came to my attention.
After trying to open norton antivirus, a strange error message kept re-appearing everytime i tried to access norton, preventing me to scan for threats or even move the window. The same happened with other antivirus programs, the same pop up error occurs when i access emails, or anything that may clean the computer of threats.
I tried everything that is suggested before posting my hijackthis log but none of it was successfull, i was unable to do any online scans such as - Trend micro housecall, kaspersky online scanner, and the panda online scanner. It seem's the virus is preventing me from viewing the scanner pages and preventing me from fixing the problem at all.

Sounds like you need a re-format. Stay away from Norton, nothing but bad experiences to be heard...

I don't see anything suspicious in that HJT log, but then again I'm no expert.

Can you describe the symptoms in a little more detail?

When trying to use the online scanners EG: housecall, kaspersky, i can not scan my system as all i get is a blank page from the website. I also sometimes get redirected from my original site to something that looks the same, but it just does not look right. When i access the same sites on another pc in the house they work fine.
