I bought mcafee today and when i go and install it i get this message that says: "Exception Occurred" I click OK and it closes. I disabled all my other apps before installing and i still get the same message. Is there a specific reason why it wont let me? or could it be because of the problem i had with the malware? I doubt it since its gone.

Your issues could well be linked with malware. Exception Occurred is a somewhat ambiguous error that generally means the program did something wrong while attempting to use a shared library. For this to happen on installation is a bit odd.

If I were you, I'd put my HDD in another PC and scan it for viruses (updating the definition files first).

Unfortunately, McAffee is know known for being a particularly good software suit.
