Here is one that will make you scratch for head and say hmmmmmm. First here is what is my system; I have 4 80GB HD installed original when I made the build. The yesterday, as my HD is slowly getting to capacity I decided to add two more HDs I purchased a Maxtors 200GB and another WD 80GB HD, I also purchased an ATI HD PCI Controller card. While I decided to do this upgrade, I decided also to change my Sound card since a couldn’t find a better and easy way to collect it to an A/V Receiver. The sound card was SB Live 5.1; I purchased a Turtle Beach Montego DDL which has a digital optic connection that can be connected straight to an A/V without much hassle.
Nevertheless, all this hardware were easily installed, the problem started when I try to boot the system. It started OK recognizing the installed HD, then it stopped at “Verifying DMI Pool…………” and it won’t boot to Windows which is XP Prof. Can anyone help with this issue?
