Hello all I'm a newbie to this site, and I've encountered a problem with a new Printer I've purchased, a Photosmart C7280 All-in-One

Installed the printer did a test print and printed a few photos and all was well.
Every time I now switch my printer on, my PC screen goes blank for a few seconds then comes back on for a few minutes then blank again, this continues until I re-start the PC.
It's driving me MAD, I've uninstalled and re-installed the driver but it's still the same.

Any help would be very much appreciated

I think that you should return the printer ( if you have warranty) or download the drivers from the website rather than using the CD as it could of been damaged. Here is the link

I currently use an earlier version the C4380... had the same issues and returned it. Drivers from the CD still did not work so therefore i got drivers off the website and it worked
