Upgrading help

Hello all,

In December 2007 I bought a computer;

Packard Bell BV
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 -2.4Ghz
3070MB RAM
327GB + 335 HDD
NVIDIA GeForce 8600GS
Vista Home Premium

Basically I want to upgrade the Graphics Card to an 8800GTX here:
XFX GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (PVT80FSHF9)

Now, after reading about it it requires a 500W min PSU, so checking mine I found its model number is FSP250-60HEN, after researching this it has a power of 250W...a little..bad.

So..after finding out I must buy another PSU I found this for quite cheap:
OcUK Huntkey 550W PSU

I am new to the upgrading/building of computers and would like peoples opinions on what I am thinking of doing. Also I don't know much about my motherboard its a Foxconn N15235 anyone who knows anything about that I would be grateful for info.

Heres some pics of inside my case..

Please remember that I am 16 and where I live (Middle of nowhere) it is moderately hard to get lots of cash at such an age.

That would be fine for what you want mate efficiency rating of 85% is sweet.

i see you have the 2.4ghz 6600 if you get a decent aftermarket cooler like this

Arctic Cooling AC-FRZ-7P Freezer 7 Pro Socket 775 Processor Cooler - Ebuyer

You can comfortably overclock to 3ghz 1333mhz
