Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe headless

Has anyone got an experience/information on how to get an Asus M2N-SLI deluxe to boot headless?

I've got a new server installed and I can't find any info on getting it to boot without a GPU attached. With GPU it boots smoothly but without it doesn't even seem to get past POST.

I'm lacking a serial port right now so I can't hook that up to diagnose.

Any ideas welcome, thanks
