Help with a new computer build

hi im new to this forums

im after some help with my new build i have been buying computers for a while from retialers but after a while they get out of date my current computer is on its last legs as i have upgraded it to the max then while i was drunk fell over and spilt beer all over it and now it make funny noises all the time lol

now for the build could you tell me if these parts are any good and what else i need

errrr i just started a computer course and im still swamped in meanings, but dam, that all looks super sweet! if you can afford it i suggest to get it.

Some of the really important details are missing, for example what is the CPU clock frequency? What speed is the RAM?

You eluded to SLI (a type of dual graphics solution) as a preferred option. If you plan to game, you're much better off spending the same amount on a single card than two slower cards. SLI is a gimmic.

PC Start up problems

Hey iv'e just finished with the vital installation on my PC.
I started it up and after a while it says

"Media Test Failure check cables"

What is this do I need to do something with my media reading units
can anyone please answer.

All items in my PC are compatable ram gpu etc they all run at 800Mhz or under and are DDR2
