processor

Hi, I am thinking about buying an AMD AM2 4200+ X2 Dual Core processor, but am not sure if my motherboard is compatible. I have an ASUS A8V-VM Motherboard. Will I need to change anything and if so how much will I have to spend. Thanks a lot

Make sure you update the BIOS prior to installing the new processor, as that motherboard predates that Athlon 64 X2 series.
