Need help overclocking
I'm in the process of building an new comp and want to see what I can get out of the old one while I'm building the new one...
Motherboard: ASUS A7V (the one with both switch boxex) CPU: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1Ghz If I OC by upping my CPU freq. through Bios, I also increases my DRAM freq. and when I check my memory using ctrl+alt+del it shows me as having less RAM... that's not good.... I also tried setting all four switches on the FSB switch box to "on" and then switched all the switches on the multiplier box to "on" which should give me a multiplier of 11 and if I understand right that should give me 1.1Ghz.... but I don't... What am I doing wrong? Thank you, Azret
