How far way from the router are you, are you in another room at all? Distance can affect the wireless signal, I had this problem a few years back and just repositioned the router so it was closer and not going through too many walls and voila!!!
Certainly do the checks that Tigerplank suggested too, especially the re booting of the router :-)
