In theory, it should pick up the drives as part of an array, or so it does on the RAID card built into the intel chipsets. But this would also be dependant on what raid card you used to replace the previous one as different card's can use different "formats" of RAID configuration, so the array may be recognisable to one card but not another type. As far as i am aware tho, this is fairly rare now. But i wouldn't want to risk it.
