Yes i did purchase the motheorboard but i am able to send it back minus the postage which never amounted to much. The Conroe motherboard i was looking at will cost in the region of £64 and was looking for something possibly in that region.

The ball part of it is that i am building a budget pc in the short term to which i hope to upgrade the motherboard at a later time as my time is limited with my computer as i have other commitments ( New addition to family ) so i am looking for one that will work with the CPU for the short term. The reason i related AsRock is that i currently have an Core 2 Duo E6300 on a AsRock ConRoe945G-DVI motherboard to which i have had for the past 18 months with no problems on the type of stuff i do. I purchased the same motherboard again for my son as i was happy with my current system but decided to upgrade the CPU hense the reason for getting the right motherboard for my new CPU as it would be cheaper to change the motherboard rather than sending the CPU back. well so i thought

Would it be possible if one of you would recommend a particular motherboard that you would use with my new CPU? or some links?
