CPU

Thanks Roz for your speedy reply. I got an email from AsRock support to which the details were vauge to say the least and he replied that if i install the CPU the pc will not boot!!!

The CPU support list from AsRock stated that an E6700, E6800 or extreme processor will support my motherboard but i thought the E6750 although it's 1333 FSB would still be ok to run on my motherboard as to get the 1333 FSB it requires to be overclocked to achieve this.

Can a CPU be a straight 1333 FSB or is it like my current E6300 which can be overclocked by using high grade DDR2 667 memory to achieve the 1066 FSB. Why do you think AsRock are not sure but like yourself i think it will

Best Regards
