I'm not just a mod, I'm the guy who's posted over 20% of the the content on this forum. When I take the time to post a reply, it makes me a little irate to have my few and infrequent errors attacked in that manner. I ask for a little bit more respect than that. It isn't much to ask.

Smirnoff has apologized in PM, so that's that.

I, like many, are perfectly tolerant of people who know less on any given subject. However, it is difficult to tolerate those who know less rather loudly, and present themselves as knowledgeable (I'm not so much talking about Smirnoff anymore, but anyone who feels us mods have done them wrong). All I can say is; Welcome to the Internet. Sure, maybe at home you're the guy your friends and family say is a "real wiz with computers". You're the one they go to when they want to change desktop resolutions, add and remove programs, plug in a new graphics card. But here, I'm afraid, on the world wide web, you find yourself ignorant.

Now that's okay. We all need to start somewhere. If you really honestly have a genuine interest, people like us are well prepared (in fact, believe it a duty) to help you through the fog, but your chances of actually learning anything are greatly depreciated by thinking you already have the answers to all the questions. Your chances are virtually depleted if you attack your hosts.
