USB driver issues
Hi there my name is Charles and i'm a first time usr on this msg board. Depending on what kind of response i get and the knowledge of the people, i may come back for more help late rand help out myself. well i won't give my life story i'll get straigh tto the topic:
i'm working with two computers for a real estate company. Both PCs look like they were custom built, or built by a small unknown company, because there are no trademarks anywhere on it. The computer has 8 USB slots(2 in front 6 in back) and none of them work. when looking through the device manager to see if the drivers were properly installed, turns out the builder(whom we don't know or bother to remember) didn't install any USB drivers. all it shows is "PCI Device" in the USB area, and "USB controller." Both have a question mark on them and have no driver when i go into the properties for each device. I have tried clicking the reinstall button and the update driver button(dumb move i know). I dont' know much about USB drivers but i'll understand u if u talk to me in computer i speak it :P. sorry my message was so long, but if someone could please help me i would really appreciate the help.
thanks again,
Sir Charles
