Hi Dave,

Yes I can reinstall windows but I didnt really want to have to format the drive unless I have to. I may copy everything onto another just to keep it and then try formatting and reloading windows, but I was hoping to get away without doing this. Is there any reason why the new motherboard shouldn't work with the old drive as it was, obviously I would have to install new drivers etc if I could et into the programme. It boots up and because it actually crashed before the original m/b died then as it boots up now I get the option to boot into safe mode, last known good config, normal etc but which eber one I choose even safe mode it attempts to boot, give a very fast flash of blus screen and then reboots as if I had switched it off and back on again.
