I have just purchased an AS Rock P4VM800 motherboard and fitted it into my computer. I have a problem now in as much as when it tries to boot up it gives a flash of blue screen and then switches off and reboots before loading windows. The original motherboard was totally dead and prior to that happening the machine ran ok. I have tried another memory stick to no avail and have scanned the hard drive in another computer for viruses and none were found. Does anyoneÂÂ! have any suggestions for me as to what could be the likely cause and remedy?ÂÂ! The memory is 512Mb DDR333 166Mhz PC2700 and the operating system is XP.
