You can only view information on MSN users that they themselves have elected to reveal, anything other is a privacy violation. If this is as serious as you say, you should report the abuse to authority at MSN, including logs of conversations with the individual, and they may suspect the account.

I'm not really sure how serious someone can threaten you over the internet. What can they do?
