You should have received a CD with all necessary drivers when you either purchased the computer, or purchased the motherboard. If you don't have this, you can go to the computer manufacturere site, look up your specific machine, and get the latest sound drivers for it. Or, if you know the motherboard manufacturer, you can go to their website and lookup your motherboard, and get the drivers for that.

Once you get the necessary file(s) downloaded, run them. It's a pretty simple wizard instillation process for the most part. It updates your drivers , and it should require a reboot after it's done. Once you reboot, you should have sound again. If not, post back in here.
