You'll need a wireless router, which will cost some, but it's possible. This is how all the computers at my house are setup. Also, if your laptop does not have integrated wireless capibilities, you'll need an expansion PCMIA wireless card for it as well. You can get all of this for under $100 USD, probably much cheaper if you find some good deals or a bundle package or something.
